The Design Department Manager is responsible for the overall management of the design department, architectural and interior design staff, and is responsible for meeting or exceeding goals set forth by the Leadership Team.
The Design Department Manager will collaborate with all other employees as a team and effectively lead all phases of the design process to meet project objectives, budgets, and deadlines. By employing the mission and core values of CRD, the Design Department Manager will represent CRD in various client interactions/communications and remain a trusted source of leadership for both staff and clients.
As a seasoned professional, the Design Manager will uphold the standards and policies of CRD, the design process and design deliverables, and will maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of residential building code, permitting requirements in King County and industry-standard practices for architect, design and construction.
The architect is responsible for the management of assigned project designs from the initial client interview to completion of the design, specifications, and permit submittal. Position is responsible for producing both preliminary and working design documents for the production hand-off package.

The Carpenter Assistant supports the successful completion of assigned remodeling and/or construction projects by performing specific carpentry tasks or assisting with tasks, including but not limited to: demolition, tear-out, debris disposal, foundation layout, framing and structure formation, siding and exterior trim, building decks and porches, window and exterior door installation, interior millwork and doors, cabinet installation, hardware installation, appliance installation, and final detailing and cleanup. The Carpenter Assistant is responsible for the successful execution of specific carpentry tasks and job tidiness with minimal supervision as directed by the Project Manager and/or Lead Carpenter.
The Field Support role supports the successful completion of assigned remodeling and/or construction projects by performing specific tasks or assisting with tasks, including but not limited to: demolition, tear-out, debris disposal, final detailing, cleanup and any other task as assigned within the job site or project scope. The Field Support position is responsible for the successful execution of tasks and job tidiness with minimal supervision as directed by the Production Manager and/or Lead Carpenter. Acts as an integral part of creating a positive client experience at every project.
The role will employ the philosophy of the company mission in all work product and will provide support to fellow field employees.
The Home Services Coordinator works directly with the CRD Service Manager and HS Production Manager to support multiple aspects of daily operations, tasks, and projects as assigned. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to; Sales & Marketing, Project Development, Design Development, File Maintenance, and Estimating. The Home Services Coordinator plays a key role in the overall success of the Home Services department through creating, maintaining, and building relationships with CRD Staff, Clients, Trade partners, and Vendors that foster teamwork and mutual respect. This role will demonstrate the philosophy of the company mission and Core Values in each phase of work performed.
The Marketing & Sales Associate plays a key role in the ongoing success and future growth of the company. The role demands a willingness to learn new tools, utilize creative thinking and be a hands-on member of both the Sales and Marketing Departments.
The main objectives of the role are to ensure client satisfaction from initial marketing exposure, throughout the Sales and Design phases, and positions the company to be a trusted source in the community as driven by our Cole Values and Mission.
